The first two rounds of racing action for the 2023 Nashville Spring Fling Series took place on Wednesday, April 12, at Veterans Motorplex at the Rim in Greenbrier, Tennessee. Winners of the first rounds of features were Bryson Nichols (Bandolero Beginner Bandits), Landon Thrasher (Bandolero Bandits), Jayden Johnson (Bandolero Outlaws), Jackson Denton (Legends Young Lions), Dylan Faulkner (Legends Semi-Pro), Alex McCollum (Legends Pro), and Josh Mullins (Legends Masters).
In the second round of features, John Gauge Kimler (Bandolero Beginner Bandits), Landon Thrasher (Bandolero Bandits), and Jayden Johnson (Bandolero Outlaws) went to victory lane.
During the early laps of the Legends Young Lions feature, a red flag was displayed after a multi-car incident. During the clean-up, the local track’s 5pm weekday curfew was hit, postponing the rest of the day’s action. On Thursday, when racing resumes, the Young Lions second round feature will continue from lap three, followed by the remainder of the Legends races from Wednesday before the regularly scheduled Thursday races will take place.
